Agronomic Performance of Corn Silage Intercropped with Urochloa Ruziziensis

The integrated cultivation of corn with forages leads to competition for production factors such as water, light and nutrients however, currently, it is being practiced improve the chemical, physical biological characteristics soil, in addition increasing grain straw next crop. In this sense, objective work was evaluate agronomic performance silage intercropped species Urochloa ruziziensis. experiment carried out on a rural property located municipality Abadia dos Dourados - Minas Gerais, Brazil. A randomized block design used two treatments (corn cultivated without intercropping U. ruziziensis) ten replications. evaluations crop were at 100 days after planting. variables analyzed were: plant height, cob insertion weight size. Data selected analysis variance level means Tukey test models 5% probability test. ruziziensis when hybrid increased height insertion, size reaching satisfactory levels.
